Privacy Policy
How EwanX handles information in the Which Came First app. In short: there are no accounts, no ads, nothing to buy, and nothing that identifies you.
What we collect
Which Came First never asks for your name, email address, phone number or location, and there is no way for us to tell who you are. Your scores and settings are stored only on your device and are deleted along with the app.
The app does send anonymous usage data. A random identifier is generated on your device the first time you open it — not taken from your Apple ID or any advertising identifier — and alongside it we record when you open the app, when a run starts and ends, and what you score. Nothing you type, nothing about your device's contents, and nothing from anywhere else.
There is no advertising in Which Came First, and we do not track you across other apps or websites.
Who we share it with
- PostHog receives the anonymous usage data above, stored in the European Union — privacy policy
There is nothing to buy in Which Came First, so we never handle payment details of any kind.
Notifications
If you allow them, Which Came First sends occasional reminders to play again. They are written and scheduled on your device, so nothing about them passes through a server. Turn them off in the app's settings or in Settings › Notifications.
Sharing
When you share your score, the image is created on your device and handed to the standard iOS share sheet. What happens after that is between you and whichever app you choose.
Children
Because nothing we collect identifies anyone, we hold no personal information about any user, children included.
Deleting your data
Delete the app and the anonymous identifier goes with everything stored on your device. Reinstalling creates a new one that isn't connected to the old.
We can't look up or delete your usage data on request, because nothing marks which of it is yours. Deleting the app is the complete way to stop any further collection.
